The service we offer is Cut Make and Trim, otherwise known as CMT.

When you first enquire send us a drawing or a sample for us to give you an estimated price, if acceptable we will proceed to the sampling stage, you send us the patterns, specification, and sufficient cloth and accessories to make a first sample which we will make and submit to you for approval and comment.

If any of the requirements are not in place or available we are here to help and assist by arranging to have the patterns made as well as providing contacts to purchase cloth or accessories. Very often the first sample will need to be modified for style and fit, in that case a further sample can be made and when exactly correct it can be sealed as the approved sample for production. It is at this stage that we can then discuss in detail the quantity that you require to be made and the time scale. We will then give you a firm quotation of the price and delivery, when all details are settled you will be in a position to give us either an order to make sales samples, or a production order.

To make sure that we achieve the objective of producing garments to your required quality and in the time scale agreed we stress the importance of a close working relationship. At all stages we welcome you, our client, to visit us at our factory and to oversee any and all stages of sampling and production. We are also available to visit you as required. Our production facility in Poland is not so far away at approx two hours flight time from UK airports to Gdansk and a scenic drive of less than an hour to our factory premises.

Prior to starting the production order we will need to receive all of the components required to make the order; cloth, accessories such as brand and care labels, zips, trimmings together with a final specification. We try to make it a rule that production is not started until all requirements have been received at our factory.

Stage 1 - Cutting

The first stage is laying and cutting the cloth and assembling all components ready for sewing, the cloth is laid in a relaxed state by hand and then blocked off with a straight knife and the detailed pieces cut with the band knife.

Stage 2 - Sewing

The production is then passed to one of our teams of skilled seamstresses for sewing, during the sewing operations the part made garments are checked for quality assurance by the team leader and production manager. As the garments leave the sewing area they are trimmed and examined ready for packing.

Step 3 - Packing

Packing is carried out to your requirements and forms part of the final specification or as detailed on the order using your bags, swingers or bar codes as specified, we are able to source many of these items locally according to your requirements. Finally the garments are boxed as you require ready for despatch.
